Credit Builder: a planned business credit reporting service. Not available yet. Planned price, $99 per month.
Correction. An earlier version of this page said that Credit Builder was available and that a subscriber’s payments would be sent to commercial credit bureaus every month. That was wrong. We have no signed data-furnisher agreement with any commercial credit bureau, we cannot report payments today, and Credit Builder is not open for enrollment.
Credit Builder is a planned service and is not available. We are in early discussions with commercial credit bureaus and have signed nothing. There is no launch date, and we cannot promise it will launch at all. We will not accept an enrollment or take a payment unless the agreements are signed and reporting actually works.
The proposed service model
The model we propose is to report the payment history of a new Credit Builder subscription, not your existing bills, to participating commercial credit bureaus. We intend to report on-time and late payments alike, because honest reporting is the entire point. Whether this can launch depends on bureau acceptance and on reporting arrangements we do not have yet.
- Subscribe. Planned price, $99 per month. Final billing and cancellation terms would be disclosed before you decide whether to enroll.
- We verify. Under the proposed service, a person would review your business details and the exact first tradeline before anything is reported. If we cannot verify your business, we would cancel the subscription and refund every payment in full.
- Reporting. Planned monthly reporting, subject to bureau acceptance and working reporting arrangements. Before any enrollment we would name the receiving bureau or bureaus and explain the schedule and its limits.
We do not promise that reporting will create a credit file for your business, raise any rating, win you financing, or remove a lender’s requirement that you sign personally. Reported late payments could count against your business.
Planned features, if the service launches
- Planned monthly reporting of your subscription payment record, subject to bureau acceptance.
- A planned reminder calendar for common state filing deadlines. It would not be exhaustive, would not be legal advice, and we would not make filings for you.
- A planned monthly status email covering reporting activity and upcoming calendar reminders.
- A planned 10 percent member discount on other Critical BS services while an account is active.
Ask for one email if it opens
Email admin@criticalbs.com with the subject “Credit Builder waitlist” and your business name to request one email if enrollment opens. That email would name the receiving bureau or bureaus and confirm the price and terms. Asking is free, does not enroll you, and authorizes no charge. We will not add you to any other marketing list. To withdraw your request, email us with the subject “Remove”.
What we keep from that email: your business name, your email address, and the request itself. We use it only to send that one email, and to honor a withdrawal. Our privacy policy covers the rest.
Common questions
Can I sign up today? No. There is no launch date, and we cannot promise a launch. Enrollment would need signed bureau agreements and working reporting first. You can ask for one email if that happens.
Which bureaus would you report to? No bureau has signed a data-furnisher agreement with us. If we launch, we will name the receiving bureau or bureaus on this page before accepting any enrollment. We never name a bureau we cannot send data to.
Is $99 the final price? It is the planned price, to be confirmed in that one email before you decide anything.
How would cancellation work? The cancellation process, and when it takes effect, would be disclosed before any enrollment.
Credit Builder is a proposed service. Its features, price and reporting depend on agreements with third parties. They may change, and the service may never launch.
